Best of South Tyneside 2025

As many of you will be aware, last night was a very very special night for WAVES. We attended the Best of South Tyneside Awards 2025. 3 of our Wavelets also joined us as finalists - Harry, Jack and William. To say we came away delighted is an understatement - we were ecstatic 🎉. Not only did Jack and Will win Child of Achievement, Harry won a highly commended award, Suzanne then went and won the Unsung Hero award (although every member of staff could have won this) and finally - considering we thought WAVES had not made the finalists - WAVES only went and won the South Tyneside Ambassador of the Year 2025. We accepted the award ‘quietly’ as you would expect!!!!!

We want to thank all our members as if it wasn’t for the brilliant bunch you are, the Volunteers and Committee would not work tirelessly to make WAVES what it is. Together we not only make WAVES a fabulous charity but we also class each and everyone of you as family. 🌊🌊
